Why Isn't My 2048 Score Saving?

Scores are only recorded under specific conditions. If your score isn't saving, one of these is likely the cause:

Common causes

• Playing as a guest (not logged in) - Guest plays never save. Sign in to your account and play a ranked game.
• Game exited before completion - The game must reach a natural end (game over) for the score to be submitted. Closing the tab or refreshing mid-game abandons the session.
• Unstable internet connection - Score submission requires a live connection at game end. If your connection dropped during the final submission, the score won't record.
• Playing offline - Offline sessions (via cached PWA without connectivity) don't submit to the leaderboard.

Fixes

• Verify you are logged in before starting a ranked game - Check the top navigation for your username
• Complete games to their natural end rather than closing early
• Check your internet connection before playing a ranked session
• If the problem persists while logged in with stable internet, try clearing your browser cache and reload the page
